Comprehensive Praxis Teaching Reading Support
Region IX is offering a comprehensive, 8-week support program to ensure you pass your Praxis 5205 – Teaching Reading exam. It will involve a combination of recorded webinars and a self-paced, online course. You can find out more about our courses, featuring targeted lessons, interactive exercises, full-length practice tests, detailed explanations, and rich diagnostic data, by watching the short presentation.
Region IX is committed to your success, but also needs your commitment to putting in the effort to prepare. We’re excited to work with you on this critical step to becoming a licensed teacher.
This program will provide you with a deep understanding of all the concepts you need to pass your Praxis 5205 exam. We will cover phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics and decoding, vocabulary and fluency, literary and informational texts, writing, assessment, and constructed responses.
